Mei-Ling Chen

Mei-Ling Chen, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, and artist, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, at the age of 73. Born August 14, 1952, in Vancouver, she devoted her life to education, creativity, and community service. A gifted teacher of literature, she inspired generations of students with her passion for words and culture. Her calligraphy and volunteer work celebrated heritage and connection. Mei-Ling will be deeply missed by her daughter Angela, grandchildren Lucas and Maya, sister Xiu-Fen, extended family, and many dear friends. Her legacy endures in the lives she touched with kindness, art, and wisdom.
