Born on October 12, 1985, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Thomas was the cherished son of Michael Kline and Susan Kline (née Harris). Growing up in Cedar Rapids, Thomas displayed an incredible passion for helping others, a trait that defined his life and work.

Thomas is survived by his devoted wife, Emily Kline (née Roberts), with whom he shared 14 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.

He will forever be remembered by his children:

Ethan Kline (10 years old)

Thomas was a beloved brother to:

David Kline and his wife, Rebecca
Rachel Johnson (née Kline) and her husband, Matthew
Caroline Smith (née Kline) and her husband, Elliot

He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Thomas graduated from the University of Iowa, where he earned a degree in Environmental Science. He dedicated his career to advocating for sustainable practices, working tirelessly to make the world a better place for future generations. Outside of work, he was an avid hiker, a devoted fan of classic rock music, and a talented home chef who loved hosting family dinners.

Above all, Thomas’s greatest joy was his family. He was a loving husband, an incredible father, and a loyal friend who had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. His warm smile, selflessness, and unwavering optimism will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
